Homemade Vegetarian Ramen – Chickens and Potatoes
- Ingredients
- 4 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce
- 2 healthy squirts of Sriracha
- 2 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
- 1 -1/2 teaspoons of minced garlic (3 cloves)
- 1 teaspoon of ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of White Pepper
- 1 Cup of shredded carrots
- 1 Cup of Kale
- 1 8 oz package of Chinese noodles(or use packages of ramen)
- Instructions
- Heat olive oil in Dutch Oven (or something similar you have on hand) at medium-high heat.
- Add carrots and stir off and on for 3-5 minutes.
- Add ginger, white pepper, Sesame Oil, and Garlic. Let simmer for 2 minutes or until its fragrant. Stir to prevent sticking.
- Add Soy Sauce, Broth, , and Sriracha. Bring to a simmer for about 2 minutes.
- Stir in kale. Simmer for about 2 minutes or until wilted.
- Add noodles cooking until desired tenderness. I cooked mine for about 5 minutes.
- That is all! Once you have put it in a bowl you can add green onions, meat(for the people who eat it), or hard boiled eggs on top!
